My Biggest Problem on Medium
Time For A Fix
I log into Medium every day to read. I consume all the words, stories, insights, thoughts, feelings, and emotions I have time for.
An hour of reading can easily fly by before my eyes gaze at the time. The algorithm has succeeded; it keeps feeding me more.
The problem is I get sucked into reading and never end up writing.
I joined Medium to write.
Reading has been a hidden blessing I wasn’t expecting.
I love reading Medium’s content and seeing others' creativity transcend through the screen. I’m easily intrigued by sentence structure, article origination, or closing thoughts.
Most articles I read provide value to me as the reader.
Mission accomplished and props to all the writers out there.
It’s been a breath of fresh air to read articles about topics I would have never considered writing about. I’ve seen minuscule details turned into 1,000-word articles.
If you can think of it, you can write it.
But before I know it, I’m out of time and haven’t written a thing!
